On 10 November 2023 at the Cafetteria 'Mio Giò' in Corso Raffaello 27 in Turin, a banquet was set up by the Department to collect donations for Cancer Research and receive Venchi chocolates. Donations were also collected via the Satispay platform.
Description
The Department of Clinical and Biological Sciences took part in the AIRC Research Days events with "Chocolates for Research" on Friday 10 November 2023.
For the occasion, a stall was set up at the "Mio Giò" Cafeteria in Corso Raffaello 27 in Turin, run by the teaching and research staff, to promote Cancer Research through donations in exchange for 200g packs of Venchi dark chocolates (minimum contribution from €13).
It was also possible to contribute to the initiative with free donations online, using this link or the QR Code below, linked to Satispay.
At the Hub of Medicine of Orbassano and Candiolo - in order to support oncological research - a collection of donations via Satispay was planned, which will be followed by the delivery of the chocolates in the following weeks.
The initiative is supervised by Deputy Director Prof. Paola Costelli together with Dr. Benedetta Genta and Dr. Annalisa Pesando.
