Description
The volunteer activity is part of a program for humanitarian purposes in collaboration with the Anemon Association of Torino, which has been cooperating with a mission of Italian nuns in Henintsoa for several years. Two projects are currently underway: the first project deals with the theme of motherhood and the other with nutrition. The activity is part of the maternity project, collaborating with a hospital on site, specifically with the blood testing laboratory, to implement and improve the tests, expanding the assessment of health status, integrating the parameters of protection that the association is also pursuing with the evaluation of glycemic rate, blood pressure and evaluation on urine of some biochemical parameters suitable for the assessment of the presence of gestational diabetes.
