Where not otherwise specified, the following courses are delivered in Italian. You can find more information on the Department italian website.


Continuing education programs (specializing masters)
Courses carried out by University of Turin to meet cultural and in-depth needs for specialized sectors, for professional updating and life-long learning. They can be carried out also in collaboration with private or public bodies and with national or foreign Universities.

  • Master di II livello in "La Scuola in Ospedale: la realtà professionale e le strategie didattiche di cura" ("Schooling in Hospital: Professional Reality and Teaching Strategies of Care")
  • Master di II livello in "Severe Asthma" (taught in English, under the free patronage of the Italian Society of Pneumology SIP/IRS and with liberal funding from AstraZeneca S.p.A.)
  • Master COREP di I livello in "Medicina trasfusionale per infermieri: la selezione dei donatori e la raccolta” ("Transfusion medicine for nurses: donor selection and collection")
  • Master COREP di I livello in “Medicina trasfusionale: il processo di produzione e utilizzo degli emocomponenti” ("Transfusion medicine: the process of blood component production and utilisation")

Specialization schools
The postgraduate course prepares students for specific professional activities and can only be put in place if it complies with specific European Union laws or directives. The Department of Oncology is active in training highly specialized medical figures by organizing schools for in-depth study of specific knowledge. These are the areas of specialization:

  • Patologia Clinica e Biochimica Clinica (Clinical Pathology and Biochemistry)
  • Malattie dell'apparato respiratorio (Diseases of the respiratory system)
  • Reumatologia (Rheumatology)

Training Courses and Professional updating
The University of Turin’s continuing education plan, offer short-term training courses and professional updating focused on interesting topics. Those courses do not release an academic degree and are addressed both to candidates who already have a degree and for candidates who do not, but have obtained recognized working experience, and which are considered corresponding to the purpose of the course (students, graduated, professionals, workers etc.).

  • Nutrition for health and ageing (managed by COREP)
  • Tutoring and education in advanced simulation in health and health promotion
  • Theoretical-practical training course for biologists. the collection of biological material and sample management in the biomedical laboratory
